Agnes
and other traditional craft at Sag Harbor, New York

Launched May 17, 2003 in Cornwall, England Agnes is the rebirth of the original Agnes of 1841 from the Isle of Scilly 60 miles west of Land's End.

She is an all wooden, gaff-rigged pilot cutter. 46' lod X 13' beam, X 8.5' draft.

Third-generation shipwright Luke Powell spent 18 months building the boat at the head of the River Helford in Gweek, Cornwall.


Agnes's decks are of opepe, planking is larch, and frames are oak.

Agnes's home port will be Norwalk, Connecticut.
